Found a good home

We didn't really want a new dog so soon after losing Pongo, but sometimes things are just out of your control. Rowdy needed a lot of veterinary care, as well as some extra lovin's and attention while we get him medically straightened out, so it was going to be pretty difficult to find him an owner we could trust.

We were struggling with what to do, but I think our Irish Setter, Molly had the final say. Her health had been rapidly deteriorating, but with Rowdy around, she is like a new dog. She plays more, runs more, and feels better whenever Rowdy gives her kisses (which is pretty often).

Our good friend Jennifer reminded me of something she was once asked when she was struggling with how to care for a difficult dog: Would you trust anyone else to do it right?

With that sentiment (and Molly's feelings) in mind, we decided that Rowdy has a good home, right here with us.
