Tribute to Molly

After three years somewhere else, a few months wasting away at the Humane Society, and almost seven years with us, Saturday was our Molly girl's last day on earth. She was the most cuddly, loving, appreciative dog we've ever had, but life was just getting too hard for her to go on. We'll miss her dancing paws and how demanding she could be when she wanted held on the couch, but she'll mostly be remembered for her tenacity. She was dealt some pretty tough cards, and she was a trooper through it all. All she ever wanted was to be loved, and we did our best and gave her all we had. She was loved, and loved immensely, and she will be missed by everyone in our family.

Some of Molly's better days can be seen in this video tribute, but nothing can capture the sincerity of her doggy kisses or the softness of her feathery coat. We'll miss her so much. . .

OMG. That was emotional. I'm sorry for your loss. Where did that song come from? Sounded like Kristin Chenowith. It really told the story.

Shanon, I'm so sorry that you have lost Molly. I know she was a cherished friend and you will miss her. I am also sorry I missed your show on May 9th; I didn't know about it, but I wasn't very good about checking up on things. I am currently working on neighborhood newsletter which contains info about the Aaron Douglas fair in September; are you going to be showing there?
